ABOUT

BOXING FOR JUSTICE

FOUNDER: I am the founder of Boxing For Justice and a survivor of exploitation, physical, and sexual abuse that began in early childhood and continued through my late teens. My story is written in pain, trauma, silence, and survival.

I come from a culture where abuse is often hidden to protect the family’s image. That silence became a shield—but it also became a prison. For years, I battled the weight of abandonment, addiction, insecurity, and a deep belief that I was unworthy of love or healing. I told myself I had forgiven, but the truth is, I hadn’t fully faced the pain.

Everything changed when I adopted my second-generation cousin—a little girl who, like me, had survived severe abuse. Walking with her through the healing process opened my eyes to the difference between behavior and mental health, and to the overwhelming struggles families face when trying to find proper support for a child carrying trauma. That experience lit a fire in me. I realized my pain wasn’t just mine to carry—it was the foundation of my purpose. In 2024, I stepped out in faith and founded BFJ: a movement rooted in healing, resilience, and redemption.

At BFJ, we are committed to supporting youth, young adults, and families through services that promote healing, personal growth, and community connection. We create a space where pain is acknowledged, not buried, where youth are empowered, not overlooked, and where voices are, not silenced.

My testimony isn’t about what I’ve been through, it’s about what GOD brought me through. Your story may begin in brokenness, but it doesn’t have to end there.
